When the writer uses this technique, he or she must be sure to include all the parts of a storytelling: plot, character, setting, climax, and ending. In a narrative essay we select, explain, support and embellish the story.

A narrative essay is told from a particular point of view. You have to make and support a point. You have to fill it with precise detail. If you want to use verbs and modifiers, use them. You can add conflict and sequence in you essay just like any other story. You can even use dialogue in its.

When you use narrative way of writing an essay, you are actually describing a topic. Many students write narrative essays thinking that these are college essays or papers. The information in these reports is basic to other forms of writing. You do not have to do a high scale research for a narrative essay.

So, in the end, just keep in mind the following things in your narrative essay:
