Science Term Paper

Most of you might HATE science and find science related articles really boring, but it is the duty of a science lover like me to help those who hate science. Because hating science will not take you any where, you have to get good grades in your science paper and before that you have to score good in your term papers. I am going to give you some basic tips on how to write a Science term paper because we are here to help you in the best possible way.

Guidelines for Science Term Paper

Firstly, you should keep in mind that a science term paper must be 10 to 12 pages long or consists of maximum 3500 words.

Be very careful about the title page. You must have heard the famous line “First impression is the last impression”. So, if your title page is properly written and has all the information which is required, then it is perfect. It depends on you whether you choose APA or MLA style. Here, I am describing MLA style.MLA style needs double spacing.

• First write the name of your topic with center alignment. Make it prominent.
• Then write your name, your course number or name, your course in charge’s name and the date of submission of assignment, one by one.

It depends on you whether you keep your title page simple or make it more presentable with diagram relating to your topic or simple graphical designs. Simplicity will give your term paper a more professional look.
After the title page, you have to write the table of contents. In this page, you have to mention the headings, subheadings, section, sub-sections with page number.

Introduction is the part where you have to describe the topic of your term paper. Write a proper background related to your topic. For example, if you are writing about the Classification of Matter, then first you have to describer the MATTER like what is a Matter? Why did you choose this topic and all the concerned material regarding how and why subject. But remember, introduction must not be very long and detailed. Just keep your focus on the brief explanation of your topic and answer these questions that why you chose some particular topic for your term paper article? What is the research method you are going to use in this article? What is the purpose of your chosen topic etc?

The main body of a term paper is its key part. This is the part, where you actually discuss your topic with reasoning, logical arguments and lots of headings and sub-headings. This part requires extra care. If you are quoting some thing from a book or website, then don’t forget to write in-text citation and the references in bibliography. The length of this portion may vary, depending on the intensity of your topic. The main body of a good science term paper also includes:

• Analysis of basic literature.
• Methodological problems.
• Present situation of research.
• Your perspective.

After explaining your topic completely your term paper proceeds towards its end. And the first stop is Conclusion. In the conclusion of your science term paper, mention the problem you stated and clarify the outcome of your research. You should give a brief review of the interpretation and analysis. You should also enlighten the strengths and restraints of your research. You can suggest any of your future work as well. Now comes the important part, stating the references. Mention all the sources of your references in a proper citation manner.
